Whats Included:-

• The TOMCAT is a full function industry standard pipe and cable locator.  Better in design, the TOMCAT is rugged, lightweight and packed full of features including a detachable speaker that can be held close to the ear for use in noisy environments.  Fingertip controls allow for adjustment to the sensitivity control and enabled rapid switching between the TOMCATS three operating modes.  The TOMCAT is used to assist in the location of buried pipes and cables to a depth of 3 meters and offers three modes of location.  Power Mode : Locates live cables radiating a detachable signal - Radio Mode : Locates buried metallic conductors carrying a detachable vlf signal - Generator Mode : Locates buried metallic conductors carrying a detachable signal by induction or connection using the signal generator -Calibration Certificate  The TOMCAT is a user friendly, simple to operate locator. The TOMCAT is very user friendly and requires NO RE-TRAINING as it's operates in the same way as other locators presently operate.

• The Signal Generator works in conjunction with the TOMCAT locator.  There are two ways in which the Signal Generator operates the first is by applying a signal by induction, the second is by direct connection.  To operate the Signal Generator in Induction, simply stand the Signal Generator on the ground and turn the orange mode selector to the induction position.  To operate the Signal Generator in Direct Connection, connect the Signal Generator to the service you wish to trace using the appropriate connection leads, select the connection mode on the Signal Generator select the generator mode on the TOMCAT and trace the service.  It is advisable to always use "Connection Mode" whenever possible as this is by far the best way to trace and identify buried conductors.

• Handy, rugged designed bag. The bag has been developed to carry with padded compartments the TOMCAT and Signal Generator with spare compartments for carrying extra cables, batteries etc.
