This is an essential testkit that should be in every alarm installers toolbox. A combined audible cable tracer and continuity tester that makes cable tracing and troubleshooting quick and easy. By switching to ‘Tone’ enables the probe to trace cables behind plaster or under floorboards up to 1 metre away. The closer the probe to the cable, the louder the tone becomes. Depending on method of connection, the probe can be used to trace individual cables or pairs. The probe also enables EMI/RFI interference to be identified if someone runs their cables next to yours.

The 620K includes an audible continuity with ‘latch feature’ to enable intermittent shorts or breaks to be found more easily. This tool is a must for anyone contemplating alarm ‘take-overs’ or installing ‘first-fix’ installations. It comes in a smart carrycase with full operating instructions.
